Recipe Sharing

It has been a whole week of our Lenten Fast for Church, Community and Country! How are you doing out there? I will admit I am craving caffeine and sugar but God's grace and Pastor are keeping me on the straight and narrow (wink).

We invite you to share some of your favorite and tasty Daniel Fast recipes here so that we can continue to encourage one another. Here are a few of ours:

  • Handful of blueberries
  • One banana, sliced

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

Smoothies

*Rule of thumb: For every fruit, add two vegetables

Example:

  • ½ cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup of baby kale
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves

Lunch/Dinner

Veggie Burritos
