  It has been a whole week of our Lenten Fast for Church, Community and Country! How are you doing out there? I will admit I am craving caffeine and sugar but God's grace and Pastor are keeping me on the straight and narrow (wink). We invite you to share some of your favorite and tasty Daniel Fast recipes here so that we can continue to encourage one another. What's the Daniel Fast?

  Here is a simple way to think of the Daniel Fast, you will be eating like a vegan but with more restrictions. During this fast, we will eat from the earth. Therefore, we will eat only fruits and vegetables. Be sure that you avoid anything artificial or processed foods. You want your foods to be additive and chemical free. Any Fruit   - Fresh, frozen, dried or juiced. Examples: apples, apricots, bananas, any berries, cantaloupe, cherries, figs, grapefruit, grapes, guava, kiwi, lemons, limes, mangoes, any melon, nectarines, oranges, papayas, peaches, pears, pineapples, plums, prunes, raisins, tangelos, tangerines Any Vegetable   - Fresh, frozen, dried or juiced.
